PROGRAM
The project is part of the program "Stimulating Youth Employment" funded by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and implemented by the German Organization for International Cooperation - Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Labor the Republic of Serbia.
Raising the employability of Roma youth in the South Banat, Srem, Jablanica and Nis districts. Activities and measures of the program in the south of Serbia were implemented by Roma students of the University of Nis, as the southern office of the URS.
Project goal: To empower young Roma men and women to make decisions related to professional development in accordance with personal interests and potentials, modern market needs and existing career opportunities.
Project results: A total of 361 beneficiaries from 4 municipalities and cities of southern Serbia are involved in the activities and measures of "Towards perspective and a promising future" - Nis, Leskovac, Lebane and Aleksinac.
188 users are included in the KVIS measures.
The training "I want to work" in order to improve knowledge and skills for entering the world of work, was realized in all municipalities covered by the program "Towards a promising future that promises" in southern Serbia, attended by 105 young Roma men and women.
The training for acquiring qualified skills for the profession of forklift driver was realized during the program "Towards a promising future that promises". The training programs covered 14 beneficiaries.
